This was a weekend, right?
I’m ready for a vacation, and the mini one that I took last night watching Star Trek doesn’t count. It was a FANTASTIC, dare I say orgasmic, movie that made me remember all the reasons that I was a Trekkie and went to conventions back in the day. Oh, it was wonderful, and watching it in IMAX just put the cherry on top of the best movie-going experience of a life spent in movie theatres. But it was time spent away from my real-life duties (always had that problem, doing things that don’t pay the bills) and I’m scrambling to play catch-up. Blogging, Twittering, Facebooking, and MySpacing has taken up most of my day, and now I’m pulling up my trusty sidekick, Microsoft Word, and getting back to work on my second novel. Once I spend a good amount of time on that (which means my guilt won’t let me step away until midnight), I’m going under and won’t resurface until time to go to the other full-time job at 5 A.M. Yay for me. Sweet dreams, hopefully of a Star Trek filled nature.
